Apitherapy

Apitherapy is a set of treatments aimed at recovering wellbeing with the products collected, transformed and secreted by bees, as an integration of conventional medicine. It is a healing practice that is based on a very ancient tradition, with centuries-old therapeutic evidence and testimonies dating back at least two millennia. Writings on the practices related to apitherapy have been found in various civilizations, including the Egyptian, Greek and Roman ones. In some countries apitherapy is obtaining official recognition and in recent years in Europe (Germany, France, Austria, Romania, Switzerland) international conferences have been held with training and refresher courses for doctors and operators. With apitherapy we want to give health professionals an additional tool that complements and supports conventional medical techniques.

How does apitherapy work and what is done in the apiary

The hives are installed close to a specially built house modified so that the perfume, through small windows protected by nets, pass directly into the internal rooms: very rich in resins and oils essential with balsamic, fluidifying and antibacterial effects, the air of the hive is a panacea for the entire respiratory system. A bee-aromatherapy session lasts an hour and is combined with bee-sound therapy, listening to the buzzing of bees capable of deeply relaxing and favor meditative states as well as being able to visually enjoy the order and the organization of an apiary.
